The Housekeeping Team Leader manages the housekeeping of Arahina Ministry and Function Centre. Housekeepers keep buildings and interiors at Arahina Training Centre clean and tidy. This work includes the daily service of function and accommodation rooms, laundry, bathrooms, hygiene and interior/exterior building cleanliness. Housekeepers also support functions. Arahina functions include weddings, conferences, weekend retreats, meeting room hire and dinners. The work of a housekeeper is vital in the presentation of Arahina as an attractive function venue and a desirable home.
The Team Leader reports directly to the Arahina Operations Manager and liaises with the Functions Coordinator, and Team Leaders of Property/Maintenance and Kitchen. The Housekeeping Team Leader is a supervisory management role in a third tier position of the Institute’s New Zealand ministry.
